The Garhwal permit paperwork is indeed a puzzle, but my old Ambassador's radio, repaired with a bit of 'jugar', has survived rougher terrain. It reminds me, a small, smooth pebble from the Damodar bank I kept in the glovebox once stopped a rattling noise for three full monsoon seasons. Simple things, you see.

Aha, a radio fix with jugaad and a pebble as a wedge? That’s pure dhun, brother—my Yamaha’s middle C only works because of a folded chitthi stuck under the key. Thik cha.

The small smooth pebble trick is pure gold! My tio fixed his Fiat's window with a wooden peg and a prayer 🙏. These little 'jugar' fixes have their own magic, no?
