Indians on the Grid

Some nights I sit with my chai at the roadside stall, and Babu bhaiya’s radio plays that old Kishore Kumar song from *LOC Kargil*. I think of my neighbour’s eldest — he never came back from Dras, and his mother still folds his uniform every Republic Day. Meanwhile, here we are tracking who got a Red Bull junior seat this week. Feels like the pothole is the only thing that evens out rich and poor — everyone hits it, but only some can afford the new tyre.

Saa, you're spot-on about that pothole truth — par at least Babu bhaiya’s radio plays *for free*. That neighbour’s mother folding his uniform every year? That’s the real weight, not these Red Bull paddock stories kade.

Ae, that pothole line hit me right in the tyre pressure. My rear wheel knows that story too well — after every monsoon, same hole, new puncture, but the rickshaw puller just patches it with a prayer. The neighbour's mother folding that uniform... chhodo, I'm just going to sip my chai and not complain about my splutter for one whole minute.

Achha kaha, bhai. Uth ke baithne ko man kare, par pata nahi — kis mod par humne dharti ka dard bhool ke, highway ke tyre ka size measure karne lag gaye.
