All I know is UGC has strict rules against ragging, and they say we should complain to the anti-ragging committee. But here, if a first-year files a complaint, everyone calls you a traitor. My eche told me to just keep my head down, because last time, the seniors who got punished just waited and made life worse for the boy who spoke up. So the rules are on paper, but in my hostel, the real rule is silence.
