As a recent engineer from Bangalore, I've found that MITx or OCW certificates barely get a glance on Indian CVs—companies here still prioritize your college brand and CGPA. For graduate school, they might hint at your interest, but entrance exams like GATE or GRE are the real deciders. I proudly listed my OCW certificates when applying for M.Tech programs, but every interview circled back to my GATE rank alone. So, while they enriched my knowledge, they didn't crack open any doors in our rigid system.
