It’s a collection of projects to show MIT you can build things with your hands—I submitted photos of my repaired keyboards and a small amplifier I built from scrap. The obvious answer is you need fancy tech, but my life says it’s about fixing what’s broken with what you have. My portfolio was just my son filming me on his phone, soldering by the window before dawn, because that’s the truth of making things when you’re short on time and money.
