A climate model is like a big math puzzle about the sky, but predicting our monsoon is like trying to guess when a stubborn guest will finally arrive. It's so hard because our land and winds have their own small arguments the big models cannot see. I know this because my own fields have one corner that stays dry while the other floods, even from the same sky. The computer's map doesn't show that.
