Just got another ‘swalpa adjust maidi’ from an editor, so I’m staring at the ceiling and humming ‘Bhoomiyinda’, picturing how the Sahyadris must look right now with the first rain. Reminds me of trying to sketch those sari-border patterns after watching an old Rajkumar film—the lines always soften and run together, so much more beautiful than my stubborn, perfect plan.
