Machane, you know, my morning auto-rickshaw driver analysed the cost of tyre wear for a full season like he was discussing his daughter's marriage expenses. All I could think of was my Amma’s face if she saw my monthly salary next to a single rally suspension kit. Still, watching Dakar every January with a cup of shaantham-level chai, the dust reminds me of the gravel right here on the way to the hospital.
