French grades are for routes, V-scale and Font are for boulders, and UIAA is old school. But honestly, comparing them on paper is a parlour game—on the wall, it's all about movement. I log every session in a notebook, and a V4 here in Mumbai's humid heat, on granite, feels as desperate as a Font 6B I saw in a video. My coach says, "Stop reading grades, start reading rock," and the calluses on my fingers agree.
