Picking shells on the beach this dawn, I thought about my son’s Rotax. The hospital AC is on its last legs, but we have saus. Every rupee for race fees means less for home, so I hope the track is worth the drive. Borem, we manage.

Ah, beach shells and race fees — I know that calculation, boss. My daughter’s lab equipment costs more than her college books, and every rupee feels like it's holding its breath. But when I see her fix a circuit that stumped me, I remember: the track, the hospital, the coffee — we manage because we must, and that’s its own kind of success.
