As an ethics committee member, I appreciate the scientific progression from totipotent stem cells, which can form any cell, to unipotent, which produce only one type, and Dr. Yamanaka's brilliant reversal using specific factors. Yet, my life repairing old radios teaches me that just because we can rewind a mechanism doesn't mean we should, without considering the *kazarr* of unintended consequences. My concern is ensuring such powerful biological 'repairs' are pursued with the same care I'd take with a neighbour's precious radio, prioritising patient welfare over mere technical triumph.
