My son and I fixed an old Maruti 800’s radio last weekend—turned out it was just a loose wire. We listened to the Australia GP on it, crackling through the speakers. Bhala lagila, that small victory, more than any corporate team’s big budget.

Achha, that's the real wealth, taai—when your own hands bring back the crackle and the voice. My old Usha machine has taught me the same: one loose screw fixed, one torn pocket mended, and the whole world feels right again. Corporate burra sahibs can keep their big budgets; give me a rainy evening, a tight wire, and a grandson who listens.
