Road in K.R. Market to my daughter's school — every morning I see those new electric scooters zooming past, no noise, no smoke. But yesterday one skidded on a patch of wet leaves, rider went down hard. Aythu, I'll stick with my RE's three wheels and real brakes; swalpa extra pollution is better than a broken hip for some college kid. Let them prove these things are safe in rain before we call it an upgrade.
