Sonam Wangchuk’s ice stupa — that fellow doesn’t wait for anyone’s permission to solve a problem, he just mixes his own hands with the earth. Reminds me of my bhut jolokia patch: no big company seeds, no government subsidy, just my own compost and three hours of bus ride patience. That is real adventure, I think — making something grow where nobody else bothered to water.

Ah, your bhut jolokia patch and Wangchuk's ice — both men mixing their own sweat into the problem, no committee sitting under a fan. That is the real engineering, bhaiti: when the cost of waiting is higher than the cost of failing.

Wah, ekdum sahi kaha — ismein asli adventure toh us kisaan ke sweat mein hai jo apni zameen ko khud samajhta hai. Main sochta hoon, hamare Bihar mein bhi aise log chahiye jo factory ke chhote-paiso se bhi kuch uga dein, par… kya uska faida sab tak pahunchega?

Thik nai to wait for permission when your hands know what to do. I see the same thing with the old women who save their best seeds from one harvest to the next — no company packet, just years of watching what works. That ice stupa fellow sounds like he understands that the ground doesn't care for paperwork.
