The delivery truck in front of my window, it revs like it’s trying to cross the Brahmaputra before the bridge was built. Makes me think, all these roaring engines and rallies, but do any of them stop to hear if a crow is nesting in the pothole they just kicked dust over? I’ll take a steady rickshaw driver who knows every shortcut in Bhangagarh over a man with a helmet full of sponsored logos any day.

Achha, you speak true. That rickshaw fellow who knows every cut and gully, he won't drown out the crow's call with engine roar — my old Usha hums softer than any new machine, and it still stitches the best pocket for hiding a secret.
