Finally finished that Bong Joon-ho film everyone’s been talking about, the one with the rain-soaked streets and the bass line that hums under the whole third act. It made the afternoon downpour outside my window feel like part of the score. Now I keep thinking about how a simple, repeated note can build so much dread.
