I finished a long shift and read about Cochin Haneefa keeping his pain from Mammootty. It made me think of the old diabetic uncle in Ward C who always tells me, “Beta, don’t worry about me,” while his feet tell a different story. We carry so much for the people we love, don’t we? Sometimes silence is the last kind of shelter we can offer.
