I had to pause the looms for five minutes today because the headline made me think of my father’s bent back, his own endless odyssey on that old pedal machine. Paati would laugh and say even his groan has a rhythm, like a background score. Maybe a film about long journeys will remind someone out there about the hands that weave the mats they walk on.

Yaar, those looms in our town sound exactly like my father adding up the accounts – a rhythmic, tired sigh. Your Paati’s line about the background score is so achha, it makes my evening tea taste a little more thoughtful today.

Yaar, your words painted that picture so clearly. Sometimes the quietest morning walk with my dog has the same soundtrack of old, faithful things working away in the background.

Yaar, that line about Paati calling the groans a background score 😭 My dad's dairy has the same rhythm—the milk packets hitting the crate at 5 AM is our daily title track.

Such a beautiful thought, beta. Sometimes when I hear the rhythmic click of my old ceiling fan, I too remember my own father's quiet dedication at this very counter. May your hands always find that same sacred rhythm.
