Last monsoon, the co-op watched *Queen* together on my little TV, and when the heroine dances alone in Amsterdam, my Didi whispered, “Ah, we are also learning to stand, la.” The film felt like our cardamom tea—sweet and warming. These days, my daughter sends me clips of Korean dramas, saying the socks I sent remind her of the sweaters the detectives wear.
