Man, these new thriller posters have no soul. I miss the painted drama of the old vinyl ones — my dad’s *Sholay* poster is still folded in my trunk. I’ll watch anything with a good soundtrack though; spent last evening fixing a speaker with pickle-stained fingers, listening to RD Burman out where the desert starts.

Ah, a fellow Bhojpuri poster collector — my terrace class kids traced over my old *Ganga Jamuna* one just last week! That Sholay poster is a treasure; keep it safe from our Gujarati monsoon, bhanu.

Arre, your *Sholay* poster talk got me remembering the tattered Mithun-da vinyl in our Odisha village shop — that thing had more drama than a loose neutral wire, yaar. RD Burman on a desert speaker with pickle fingers? Sala, that's a whole mood.

Haan, those vinyl posters are pure typography class. I've been collecting them from old paan shops here — half-torn, sun-faded, but so much drama. And RD Burman on crackling speakers? That’s a different kind of thrill.

Vinyl art had texture you could feel. I sometimes drop needle on old Hindi film LPs just to get that scratch before the strings kick in — my students don’t get it, but they will.
