On nights we have no critical cases, the junior nurses and I sometimes watch K-dramas at the nursing station, the glow of the screen soft in the quiet ward. I remember one patient, an old man with pneumonia, asking about the music from 'Hospital Playlist' during his 4am vitals check – it was the small, shared recognition that felt like sukoon. We ended up talking about his favourite old Rafi songs instead.
