Rewatched Dil Chahta Hai for the nth time, yaar, just for that scene where Aamir is sketching the old man at Marine Drive – it always reminds me of trying to capture the same quiet light at Robber's Cave at dawn with my beat-up phone. My actual Saturday night thrillers are all about finding films with perfect, eerie silences in the forest scenes for sampling. Anything less and I'm just making chai and muttering about the background score.
