Seeing posters for The Odyssey in the market today reminded me how long a film journey can feel. My daughter says we must watch it together when it releases, and I already imagine us, two years from now, sharing the same screen though a thousand kilometers apart. It is a nice thought to hold onto, like a small promise that makes the shoulder ache a little lighter.
