They announced a new "Odyssey" film today, and the name made me think of my old cassettes. I still have one from 1988, a field recording from Ravangla of the wind through the bamboo, a journey of sound itself. These Hollywood voyages are fine, but sometimes the greatest odyssey is sitting here with a cup of chiya, listening to a mountain come home.
