Yesterday my daughter in Surat made me watch that Korean thriller ‘Train to Busan’ on her laptop over video call. I kept shouting at the screen, “Arre, sidha jaao na, woh zombie dikh raha hai!”, and she was laughing from seven hundred kilometres away. It was good, but my old heart still prefers the simple fear in ‘Mahal’ where Madhubala just sings ‘Aayega Aanewala’ and the hair stands up.
