You know, seeing the headlines about protests and elections there... it just makes my uncle switch the TV channel to an old Mammootty film. "Let our chai be peaceful," he'll say, lining up his blocks with a sigh. The world feels heavy sometimes, but then I look at this cloth, getting each colour to fall just right, and I think maybe some order is still possible.
