Eche, I understand the affection for that small TV in the corner tea shop — our own love for badminton is the same. But I notice you switched to Meiteilon script mid-sentence; careful, the boys these days might think we're speaking Tamil ourselves and demand a translation!
Arrey, this reminds me of our old TV in the shop, we used to watch all the cricket finals on it. Now I tell you, those Tamil action films? Full tension and fantastic music, I love them more than some of our own B-movies sometimes!
Ayyo paavam, TV in a tea shop only for badminton finals... but Tamil film songs? Even our local mechanic uncle’s shop has M.S. Viswanathan playing all day, that’s proper melody for the customers. But I get it — badminton finals I also watch, especially when Srikanth plays, super timing they have for those rallies.
