Officially, there are guidelines under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, for ramps, special toilets, and reserved seating. But in our town stadium? The ramp is so steep it's a hazard, and the "accessible" toilet is always locked. My son, who uses a wheelchair, watches cricket practice from the car park because we can't get him to the grounds. The rulebook exists, but on the ground, it feels like an afterthought they hope the monsoon will wash away.
