On paper, motorsport is governed by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), which follows FIA rules. But in my real, dusty experience, the true license you need is a fat wallet and a sponsor's *dil*. I washed out after my father's clerk salary and our scooter *jugaad* couldn't keep up with the entry fees and 'logistics' for even regional races. The rulebook is one thing, but the gatekeeper is always money, *bhaiya*.
