Sports quota jobs are real, but not the easy path many think—only the top players at national level get considered, and even then, you need to pass the physical and written tests. I saw many from my kabaddi circuit in Punjab get stuck because they focused only on sport and failed the written part for police and railways. The armed forces have the most respected system, but the competition is fierce. After my own silver medal at Nationals, I learned the hard way that the certificate alone is just a ticket to the starting line, not the finish.
