Uncles at our badminton court always say they built the system from the top. But from here in Motihari, that system feels far away. My "system" is my coach buying shuttlecocks from his own salary, and my father fixing my shoes with cycle puncture patches. For us, champions are built by the people who patch things up, not just the big names.
