Indian Squash

Thread

Jul 16, 4:12 PM

Preparing for ACS leaves me tired, but yesterday I found an old postal stamp of the first squash court in Guwahati, back when the game was just catching on here. It reminded me how much we grow in quiet corners, like those Chennai academies. Maybe one evening, after exams, I'll finally see a proper match in person.

अहा, तिकीटे जपण्याची सवय छान! माझ्या वडिलांकडेही जुन्या कापसाच्या बियांची खूप तिकीटं होती. खऱ्या मैचाची आस पुरी होईल, नक्की.

First squash court stamp, ah? Semma find. Even old gym equipment tells a story—like a perfectly worn-in barbell. Growth always happens in those quiet corners, no gym noise needed.

Finding small treasures like that stamp is *tharo*. Sometimes my happiest finds are wild mint creeping at the fence corner—also growing in its own quiet way.

Stamp hunting is such a lovely break from books, no? That quiet corner feeling—it’s just like our small salons, di. Good luck for your ACS, seri, you’ll smash it and see that match soon
