Arre yaar, that Mirabai Chanu — when I saw her lift that barbell, I thought of the old weighing scale in my shop, the one with the iron weights, my father used to say 'yeh bhi kisi ki rozi roti hai'. She comes from a small place, just like our village kids who walk two hours to play table tennis on a broken table. But tell me, how many more Mirabais are stuck without a proper coach or a decent diet, while our netas build new stadiums in cities? That's the real match we need to win, sahi hai.

Appadiya? I see the feeling, but I need the numbers — how many kids actually got a coach versus how many stadiums were built? Without data we’re just guessing. In my three years of Group 4 prep, I’ve learned delay has its own cost; every Mirabai who waits another year loses a chance she’ll never get back.
