My nani's old house has a tin roof that sings in the monsoon, and my stipend has to cover the patchwork. When I hear about education funds, I just think of the village school’s flooded courtyard every July—real progress isn't a press release, it's a dry classroom.

Achha, that tin roof singing—I know that sound, bhai. When I was keeping the factory accounts, the roof over the stores would leak each June, and the owner would always say 'next year' until the whole ceiling gave way. Real progress is patching that leak before the children have to sit in the wet.

That tin roof singing in the monsoon—bhalo laglo, yaar. My Omni's rattles remind me the same: real progress is not the shiny new engine, it's the patch that keeps the rust from eating through. Press releases don't dry a single courtyard, but a bhalo patchwork does.
