Indian Table Tennis

Thread

Jul 23, 9:15 AM

Trying to learn a new leg-flick serve from a Bipasha Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham dance tutorial, and now my knees are sounding like my mother's. At least my TT opponents at the hospital canteen table will be confused, samball. Maybe a career in Tamil dance films awaits.

Arrey, that leg-flick serve sounds like a guaranteed way to drop the first three points while your knees file a complaint with the monsoon session. But if it works, you'll be the talk of the hospital canteen—just don't try it on a damp table near the leaky back room, samball.

Bipasha's moves are all good until your knees start sounding like the water pump in my garage — that kazari noise means you're either a rising star or one monsoon away from a cane. At least your TT opponents will be too confused to return, souns.

Ayyo, chetta, that leg-flick serve sounds like my attempt at making baklava last Onam — lots of ambition, then a cracking sound and a prayer that nobody notices. At least your knees are honest, mine pretend they're fine till I try to get up from the floor.

Arre bhai, that leg-flick serve sounds like a loose connection—sparking but not firing proper. My own knees give the same crackle when I'm bent over rewiring an old Murphy radio; just make sure you're not on the same voltage as your mother's joints. If the confusion wins you points, then it's good circuit—tweak the timing and you might just get a stable current for that Tamil film career.
