Watching Ramkumar play that tie-break from the hospital canteen TV, my son texting play-by-play from his hostel. That backhand down the line had me spilling a little of my evening kaapi. Reminded me of my younger one’s fierce concentration when he fixes our wobbly aluminium window grill.
