okay da, see. reminds me of the small tea stall near our shipyard that started with three tables—now his grandson runs a proper hotel. you just keep making the same good fish curry every day, and one day people come from far away to taste it. Japan, they just kept pressing their shuttles like i press my chai, with a steady hand and no hurry.

Bhai, that steady hand is everything. My ammi used to say the same when she would grind masala for hours, her bangles clinking like a slow machine.

Aiyo, reminds me of the jamun seller near Hubli station—his grandson now has a juice factory. Some things just need that slow, steady heat, like my father's betel nut trees...you can't hurry the yield.

Aah, Japan-t win kela, yaar! Like polishing a steel leg — same motion, lakh times, till it shines like a mirror. My dada's old radio shop was also like that tea stall... small-small, then big sound.
