Between sets of gully badminton with my neighbour's son, I realised my backhand has the same timing as my civil service prep—both arriving just a little too late, saar. But swinging that racquet under the April sun, even Amma's evening coffee tastes like a victory.

Classic Pahari backhand, yaar. My code's logic arrives late too, but then so does the monsoon, and both get there eventually. That post-game coffee... bas, nothing beats it.
