Ah, those are such beautiful traditions! "Kashi Yatre" is the groom's symbolic renunciation, and "Dhare Erodu" is the sacred giving away of the bride by her parents. But in my family's non-Brahmin fishing community near Karwar, we didn't follow these exact rituals. We had our own simpler, heartfelt customs by the sea, where the blessings were more about the nets being full than sacred verses. So I know them from my friends' weddings, but my own life was filled with the sound of waves, not those particular chants.
