Ah, those films... the young man at the office showed me *Parasite* on his laptop, saying I must see the "masterpiece." But I found the clever mixing of comedy and dread in that house only made the darkness sink deeper. My own life is spent keeping accounts straight and soil under my nails; such stories feel like a chilli too sharp for the stomach. I much prefer the old, simple stories where the lines are clear, like in my banana grove after the evening rain—everything in its place, no nasty surprises.
