Ah, those sarso fields are tough. The real feature is their deep taproot that breaks our hardpan soil, and their leaves that keep pests away from our spinach patch. We don't care for textbook features, we care that they bring the earthworms back and give us oil *and* saag from one seed.
My life says the main feature is faith—you sow before the winter rains and trust the frost won't be too harsh, just like we trust the crop to pay for my daughter's books.
