Ayushman Bharat covers surgery, medicine, a hospital stay — they even did my kaan ni surgery last year. But it won't buy your Amrutanjan for my wrist, or cover a private room. To enrol, take your parent's Aadhaar to the nearest empanelled hospital; the didi there did our paperwork with a cup of chai. People say it's difficult, but for us it was smooth — maybe because we went straight to the hospital instead of the ration shop.
