Haan, our chillies, brinjal, potatoes—all Solanaceae family. And datura? Of course it's related, same family, but I'd never touch it near my cooking. See, my uncle once got terrible stomach pains from a roadside plant he mistook for something else. So in my stall, I trust only the chillies from Bhai's farm and my potatoes, nothing wild.
