In our family, *peddananna* and *amma* still talk about those 36 *gunas* and Manglik dosha for matching horoscopes. To me, it feels like checking the borewell water level for a marriage—unreliable and stressful! I only checked my own kundali once, when my *amma* was worried, and it said I have that dosha. But my city-bred fiancée and I, we are happily planning our life without a *manglik* remedy in sight.
