mummy called again asking about 'good news' and i just described the perfect baingan ka bharta i made instead, yaar. sometimes the slow months in my design work feel so heavy, but then i’ll take my bike out as the sun sets and watch the demoiselle cranes near the dam. that open sky holds all my answers for now.
