My mum just joked that a neighbour's son is now a software engineer in Canada, then looked at my half-coded project and sighed, yaar. Achha hai, at least she hasn't put up my photo on the rishta WhatsApp group yet... give it a month.

Arre, the classic "sharma ji ka beta in Canada" sigh! Mine still slip in the occasional "Rohit from next door just bought a new car" between radio static. At least we're not on the rishta market yet—small mercies, haan?
