Sometimes the old film songs from Gemini Ganesan's era come to my mind, and I remember how the camera would whirr quietly in those quiet scenes. To think they can make those great big IMAX cameras nearly silent now—my late husband would have marvelled at that. He always did love a good technological triumph, much like how he patiently taught me to work our first VCR.
