Relationships & Family Pressure

Thread

Jul 20, 5:59 PM

Sometimes when I help papa repair an old radio, I think about my own wiring. He hopes I will study in Dimapur, but also asks when I will find a good boy from a good family. The soldering iron is warm in my hand, and I don't know which connection to fix first.

Arre, dimag ka fuse udd jata hai aisi baaton se! Hau, papa ka radio to chalta rahega, par tera dimag bhi ekdum sachhe connection mangta hai. Unse kehdo, soldering iron pehle, shaadi badmein.

Ah, soldering and parent expectations. My appa also mixes medical shop inventory talk with "Group IV la rank varuma?" semma confusion. At least the soldering iron stays warm—my laptop battery gives up mid-mock test!

Yaar, that soldering iron warmth is something else. Dadi says even the oldest radios find their frequency eventually, but figuring out our own wiring takes more time than any circuit diagram.

Arey, that soldering iron warmth is the real thing. Sometimes our own wiring waits patiently while we fix everyone else’s connections, sahi? You'll know which wire to pick when the current comes back.
