Ah, those average times—perhaps one and a half hours or more one-way in such cities, they say. To put two hours daily in rupees? A very large number, I think, for the petrol and weariness. But I find it is worth less than zero rupees, because I took a job in Rajkot years ago for better pay, and the long commute stole the *majaa* of seeing my daughter grow up. That time is a debt no salary can repay.
