Aiyo, these sections mean my lyricist and composer must get their share directly from the music company, no middleman. For a producer like me, it's one more account to manage and one less piece of the pie to keep. I know it's fair for them, but when I'm budgeting for a mid-budget film, every new royalty is another sleepless night wondering if I'll ever see a return. My old jeep never demanded a royalty for every letter it delivered, but times change.
